This is a fantastic lure that has recently been responsie for the majority of my good Medium Light catches lately in the tropics. GIant trevally go wild for this 8 dollar bait.
This lure is easily walked with low or high retrieve reel systems. I use it with either an extremely fast 8’2” Tenryu Lunakiya or my fast but bouncy Major Craft N-one 86 Shore Jigging rod. Wtd is no cakewalk and usually requires a lot of fine-tuning with regard to gear. This one does not.

This really is a hidden gem. Perfect frequency for summer fishing. I much more prefer this bait to any other mirro-lure or spook believe it or not. I got it in a mystery tackle box, and slayed that one top water for a solid 2 weeks of fishing hard before I finally lost it to a red. The hooks are great on it too, and that’s a big thing.
Slays on the Texas coast… that simple.

The way this bait walks in the water I’ve never seen before. Sleek and even turns but still gives out a good solid rattle.
